Senior Expert – Climate Change and Rural Development (Chairman and Founder)
International expert with 35+ years of experience in climate change, natural resource management, and ecosystem sustainability. He develops and implements climate adaptation strategies, promotes sustainable land management, and leads ecosystem restoration initiatives. His research focuses on climate-smart agriculture, water management, and biodiversity conservation in the Near East, North Africa, and Mediterranean. He is a member of the Mediterranean Experts on Climate and Environmental Change (MedECC) steering committee under the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM). His work includes novel research and publications on these topics.
